A roll cage, roll bar, tube front end, or any other structural part is a huge Commitment. Not only are you spending good money but you also need to be able to trust the equipment with your life. We promise you will be safe in our hands.
Our roll cages are bent to perfection, why does this matter? We bend your cage or roll bar to fit tightly inside your car leaving little to no room for crushing in an accident. This keeps you safe by ensuring nothing gets close enough to hurt you. Our Tube notches are hand fit and TIG welded, this means you can be confident there are no gaps covered up that may collapse if it all hits the fan.
We build cages and roll bars guaranteed to pass tech for your sanctioning body, we meet and exceed their regulations with every cage we build.
Materials: We offer chassis work in Mild steel, Chromoly, and Docol R8 but no matter which we use the process doesn't change. Here is some info on each.
Mild Steel (DOM): This is the most affordable option, often used in slower racing classes. It requires a heavier wall thickness (usually 0.120") and therefore it is heavier than Chromoly or Docol. Mild steel takes impacts very well, since it is softer than chromoly it bends instead of breaking.
Chromoly: The standard in Drag racing and high performance vehicles focused on light weight and high strength. Chromoly is a steel alloy that is extra strong and hard but it comes with a risk. If Chromoly is not properly welded at the joints it can become brittle and in the case of an accident it can crack and splinter.
Docol R8: Docol is the new kid on the block. Specifically engineered for motorsports Docol gives us the best of both worlds with the strength and lightweight qualities of Chromoly without the risk of improper welding causing the material to become brittle.
Whether we are doing a low class roll bar for a weekend racer or an 8.50 cage for a 1000 HP track car we take the same care in building well engineered and safe chassis components.
