Why choose us?
A turbo kit functions the same way on any engine but we know every build is unique. Unique goals, space requirements, and unique customer needs. We don’t build turbo kits designed to fit any car in your platform and give mediocre results we design a fully custom kit formulated for your car, your goals, and your taste. Building a turbo system that performs flawlessly is not a simple task, for every build we do extensive research on your platform and work with motorsports engineers to make sure we leave nothing on the table.
Our Process
Here’s how it works, you reach out and tell us what your car is and what your goals are. Is it a drag car, a time attack car, a street car, a show car, etc. Then we discuss where you’re at in the build process, mods you’ve already done, and your power goals. At that point we know where to start to get you exactly the performance you need, we take any other requests or ideas you may have and make you an estimate. From there we have you leave the car at our shop and over the next typically 4-6 weeks we build turbo kit of your dreams!
Whats Included in a Turbo Kit?
1. The Turbo
A turbo kit starts with a turbo, of course. We can get great deals on Borg Warner and Garett turbos when you decide to build your turbo kit with us. We can give you Expert Guidance on the best turbo for your build based on your power goals and intended use.
2. The Turbo Manifold
The next piece in a turbo kit (and one of the most important) is a turbo manifold. Click the button to see our "Turbo Manifolds" page for in depth info on turbo manifolds.
3. Intake System
Once you have a manifold and a turbo, you can make boost! Now you need a way to get clean, cold air into the turbo and that sweet boost into the engine efficiently. Click the button to check out our "Intakes and Intercoolers" page for detailed information!
4. Exhaust System
Whether its a simple hood exit or a full exhaust you'll need something to get that exhaust gas out once it leaves the turbo, and it will need to be capable of flowing enough exhaust so that it doesn't limit the power output of your Pratt Performance Design Turbo Kit. 5. Other important Parts
So far you've got your turbo, your custom manifold, custom intake, intercooler pipes, intercooler, exhaust. It adds up fast, what else could you possibly need? Don't worry, just like we can get you a great deal on your turbo we can also get you a great deal on a top of the line wastegate, blow off or recirculation valve, custom oil and coolant lines, a standalone ECU and just about anything else you may need. We've got it all figured out so you don't have to stress.
